Cupcake Wars!

We are watching Cupcake Wars on the Food Network. The bakery that made our groom's cake is on the show. They also made our 1st anniversary cake. I would have had them make our wedding cake, but the delivery cost was $250 because of the distance from their shop to our wedding site so I decided not to use them. But I'm excited and hope they win! Here is a pic of our groom's cake just for fun.

So cute! I am going to get a designer cake made up for FI (then DH!)'s 30th birthday next summer

He loves trains and grew up in NYC so I am going to have it made into the F subway train. I love all that stuff!

They were the first ones to be dropped from the competition. Their first cupcakes were made with too much salt so they trashed them. Then the replacement cupcakes didn't cook long enough and were not good at all. Bummer.
