so some good news and some bad news.
good news - we started our premarital counseling on monday and i think its gonna be really good
bad news - our officiant double booked himself. ugh. he's one of our professors that we love, and he's an awesome guy, just a little disorganized. so he said he's going to see what he can do and get back to us. fortunately, my uncle is ordained so he may be able to fill in. it just stinks cuz it was really important to us to have someone marry us who knows us both.
also, FI's uncle passed away earlier this week from ALS. he was already sort of on the downhill slope but then got a lot worse over the weekend and unfortunately it was dragged out all weekend before he finally went to be with the Lord. the whole family is taking it pretty roughly so prayers for them would be really great.
