What happened to...

Do any of you remember when someone on here asked if we wanted to have prayer partners? I forget who it was that suggested it, but I never heard anything more about it. Did anyone hear more about it? I always say a prayer for "the girls on theknot Christian board and their families and friends", but it would be nice to do the prayer partner thing.

I think it was aegrish but she hasn't been regularly posting on here in a while.  When the original post went up I responded, then she put another post up of who she was going to match up, and asked people to email her, and my name wasn't on the list.  At the time I was so busy that I just didn't push it but I did reply to the 2nd post as well and never heard back.  If it wasn't aegrish then I'm at a loss for who it might have been, but I do remember what you're talking about!! :-)

I think you are right Kelly.  I remember that aegrish was trying to put that together but then I never heard anything.  I've started trying to keep track of who requested what and I've learned first names because I find it easier to pray for an actual person (not a SN!).  I'm hoping that our weekly praise/prayer request thread will help us to keep track of everything better but I'd still be open to have a prayer partner.  I just don't know how that would work.

I don't know if anyone likes this idea, but I thought it might be nice to pair some girls who are getting married around the same time. I thought then we'd be likely to be going through some of the same things, doing the same preparations, etc. and it might be a good way to have someone to encouarge us. Just a thought.

I remember that topic, but I didn't get on the list to do it, but am interested. I thought someone could be in charge, pair people, and then exchange just those two people's emails via PM and then we could communicate that way.

I like that idea, Anna! I would do the pairing, but it's hard for me to even find the time to post on here haha- sooooo busy! Would anyone be willing to do the pairing?
