Please Pray for Va Tech

Last report I saw said 2 are dead, including one police officer.  Campus is locked down. Suspect is not in custody.  I've heard from almost all the kids I know there, and they are thankfully ok (Tech is only 40 minutes from where I grew up).

Praying.  I'm glad everyone you know is ok.  VT has been through so much the past few years.

I'm Praying too.  It's just awful.  Hasn't this school had enough shootings?

It's awful.  The news stations are saying they think the second victim is the shooter and that he shot himself, but the police won't confirm anything right now.  The campus is no longer on lockdown, though.

I was a sophomore at Liberty University (about 2 hours from Tech) on April 16, 2007.  Half of my HS class was at Tech.  Thankfully, none of them were killed or injured that day.  One of my best friends, though, had skipped his German class that met in Norris Hall.  His professor and several of his classmates were killed, all of them were shot.  He's still dealing with that.

I saw on fb that one of "my girls" from the youth group back home was on lockdown in the student center and she was so scared.  She's just a freshman, too, finishing up her very first semester.  From what I'm seeing, everyone is shaken up by it.  Thankfully, it was no where near what it was a few years ago, but all of the emotions are flooding back.

    Thanks for your prayers.

They have been in my prayers all day and will continue to be in my prayers. I never know what people think when they do things like this and can only imagine how the victims families feel.

As soon as I saw the news I was praying. It is so terrible that this school had to deal with another shooting. I can't even imagine. :(

This is very sad. I am praying for the families directly affected, as well as all the students and families, as this is sure to bring up a lot of old feelings/emotions/memories. That school has been through SO much!

I had a relative die in a school shooting, so I empahthize with the families. Pray not only for the ones affected by this shooting, but also the previous massacre as I'm certain it's bringing back painful memories.
