*UPDATE* Prayers for my Friend/BM

Many of you may have already seen my earlier post asking for prayers for my friend (and BM) Laura as she went in for a brain biopsy.  Today she was diagnosed with a rare form of non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  Please continue to pray for her as she starts her radiation therapy and her road to being in remission.

I'm so sad to hear this. :-(  What are the recovery rates for it?  If they catch it early, does that help?  You're in my thoughts and prayers.

When I talked to her, she didn't go into the details of survival rates.  I'm not sure if this was caught early.  If the tumor in her brain is what caused her seizures all her life, then this has been going on for quite a while.

grunt, oh goodness.  What a diagnosis to receive.  

A friend of mine was diagnosed with the same thing and she is in remission.  I don't know if that makes you feel any better.  This friend was a senior in college when she got her diagnosis and it changed her life.  In the end, she says it changed her life for the better.  So, maybe you can think about having hope in that too.  

I'll keep your friend on the prayer list!

Thanks for all of the prayers everyone!  Laura is feeling pretty upbeat!  She had a PET scan today to check for tumors in other parts of her body, and as soon as I know how that turned out, I will let everyone know!
