Finally home

We made it to NC safe and sound. When we first got here, our AC was out so it made it more difficult to get stuff moved in. The maitenece people here are great and they even put us in guest housing over the weekend until they could fix it today. Compared to FL, the heat inside a non AC townhouse isn't that bad. We found out DH's job won't start until July so we are praying he finds another one between now and then. Other than that we are reallying enjoying NC and I can't wait to have all these boxes gone

Wow, glad you made it! The AC thing is REALLY necessary up here. It actually was a little cooler this weekend than it has been lately, so you really were blessed in that way. Retail jobs have good turn-over as far as him finding a temporary job, so that might somewhere to look if you haven't already! :-)

Glad you made it! That's very nice of them to put you up in guest housing while they're fixing your AC. More companies should be like that! Hope he's able to find a "filler job" soon!

Glad you guys got there safely and are getting settled, July is right around the corner (10 days left in June) so don't pannick if your H can't find an inbetween job. It's amazing how fast time flies by. Everything will work itself out, and hopefully your AC gets fixed ASAP. My AC went out in my car and I've been driving around in the close to 100 degree heat here in FL without it, and it's not that bad except after I get out of the gym. I reallllllly need to get that fixed!
