Rain

So I was just reminded of how God works and answers prayers this morning. I was driving to work and listening to KLOVE (which, listening to that station for my commute makes me such a nicer, calmer driver btw), and they were praying for rain because so many places are suffering from droughts (and us in NorCal-fires!). Then they started playing Delirious' Rain Down, and during that song it started sprinkling on my car, and by the time I had parked and had to walk the 15 minutes from my car to work, it was raining. And that is just unheard of in July in Northern Cal! It was pretty cool


What are some things that have happened to you lately that just make you stop and remember- God is good! ?

Well this wasn't recently, but since your post was about rain, it reminded me of a few things.

I used to go to a music festival called Ichthus every year (we're going back next year and I'm beyond excited). Well Needtobreathe was on stage on a beautiful June afternoon with not a cloud in sight. The minute that they started playing "Washed by the Water", it rained until the end of the song and stopped.

Another Ichthus experience from a different year, back when they had it in April and it always rained. It was raining, but all around the town we were in, it was way worse. They even brought up the weather radar and there was a perfect hole surrounding the town.

Wow that really is unheard of in NorCal in July! That is also a gret story.
