Premarital Counseling #1

FI and I have our first premarital counseling session tomorrow night! I am very excited, but also nervous- I just don't know what to expect. I have a feeling that this is really going to make it all start to sink in- I am marrying my best friend in just a little over 4 months!

    YAY it'll be great. FH and I had so much fun at ours - it was really fun to learn about each other and listen to teaching that was taylored just for us.

    July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!

    YAY. I can't wait for FI and I to start ours but with our schedules, it looks like we will have to do all 8 sessions inside a month!

    FI and I did ours before our first wedding planning stuff before we moved it back. I REALLY REALLY enjoyed it!! I think we'll do it again before our wedding date probably next winter or something. It's just so great to learn more about each other that I wouldn't have even though to talk about!

    I am so excited to start mine!  Mine my be a bit odd though, because our actual officiant has never been married and therefore can't counsel us, so we have to do it with another pastor at our church.  It's not the end of the world, but it might be a bit odd to have two pastors involved.  Also, I have over 8 months left to go, so it's at least a few more months until we start, lol.

    Thanks girls! It was awesome! We met with our pastor together and then FI went in another room and did a "test" while the pastor and I talked and she asked me questions. Then we switched and I did the "test" while the pastor asked FI questions. The purpose was to find out where our "stressors" are. Pretty cool. We ended up being there for almost 2 and a half hours, which is longer than I thought, but the time flew by!
