Just thought I would let all my Christian Weddings ladies know that as of today I am the new Mod of the Alabama weddings board!  I'm pretty excited and just wanted to share with everyone!

How does one get to be a mod?  Did you go through an application process, as with a job, or were you "selected?"

Also, what are the responsibilities?  I'm very curious.

I e-mailed Knot Annie letting her know that I wanted the job because the former Mod there wasn't around anymore.  She sent me back a thing to read and sign and an application form.  I sent that back, and she accepted me.  She then asked the former Mod if she was willing to step down, which she was, and viola!  My duties are to patrol the board and look for anything rule-breaking (like vendor ads), make stickies, keep discussion going, and I have to post 3 hours per week.  There is also a board for Mods to post in where I have to post periodically.
