- My house is a DISASTER... There is wedding stuff EVERYWHERE... I really do have to get on getting it all sorted out and cleaned up BUT...
- I have been sick all week. Just a couple days after the honeymoon I picked up a cold and am still fighting it. I woke up multiple times during the night last night with coughing fits
- For those that I didn't tell, when I was in Cabo I wound up with second degree sunburns on the tops of both of my legs from our ATV tour. I was wearing SPF 70 but apparently it wasn't strong enough. If you look at this picture of us on the ATV, look at where the sun is on my legs, that's where they are burned on both sides. Well its been REALLY painful, but I just got a new spray and its doing wonders to take the pain away and help it heal up!

- I am really starting to learn the wonders of a slow cooker! I usually don't do much of the cooking whenever we're together in the past, its always been DH making us food. Now I've been cooking regularily thanks to the slow cooker letting me work it into my work routine! (Open to any recipie suggestions I only eat chicken/fish though, so no red meats)
- After a lot of discussion I think DH and I have finally reached a plan for what to do about the fact he really doesn't like his job. He's currently a commercial farm manager, but wants out BAD. He is going to put the time in getting the rest of whats required to get his operators license for heavy machinery, so he can drive the big machinery on the construction sites. They are pretty in demand down here and UBER in demand up where we plan to move eventually

- The house we're building now has a roof! We're getting really close to having it look like an actual house, so now the next phase of waiting and saving up money again comes. 

- Work has been absolutely kicking my butt lately. The computers were glitchy for about 2 weeks, so I got behind, and am finally almost caught up.

- DH and I have decided it's time for me to go off HBC. We're not specifically TTC yet, but we would be ok with it if I did happen to get pregnant.

- I'm 1/3 of the way to my weight loss goal, and only 5 pounds from my wedding weight. I've been counting calories and trying to be better about what I'm eating. It's working, which is such a relief.

- My house is a disaster too, due to H being sick and me being so busy with work. I'm hoping I can get caught up this week, but I'm betting it takes me until the weekend. Sigh.

- DH found out at 7:30 Saturday night that he was going to preach Sunday morning.  Our senior pastor caught some kind of nasty virus and is really sick.  DH knocked it out of the park, though.  

- My due date is in 9 days.  Holy cow.

- I've been on maternity leave for two weeks and I'm bored out.of.my.mind.  The house is spotless, all the baby stuff is put together, clothes are washed.  

I don't even have 5 things going on...this kid seriously needs to get here before I go crazy.

-I go tomorrow for my second appointment with the neurologist about my chronic migraines and headaches. I haven't seen that much difference from last month when I went.

-DH and my 5 year dating anniversary is in a couple weeks. Its hard to believe we have hit the 5 year mark!

-My brother and his family will be moving to Oklahoma in Decemver. He has training to do with the Army out there. We will get to do Thanksgiving together but won't get to spend Christmas together

-I am not happy at my full time job. I don't like the amount of how hours I work and the stress is getting to me. I am praying God can open some doors for me so when DH and I are ready to start TTC, a new job will open up.

-I have my shelf exam for the OB-GYN rotation on Friday.  Not looking forward to it- heard it's hard.  It's gonna be a long week.

-I need knee surgery on my left knee.  Unfortunately, it requires breaking my tibia and will put me out of commision for up to 6 weeks.  Not exactly what I was planning for during my busiest year of medical school.

-Fiance starts a new job on Wednesday! He got the official word on the start day today.  He "lost" his job 4 weeks ago tomorrow, so it will be nice for him to have something to do again and to have more income coming in.

-Thankfully, we haven't had to dip into our wedding fund to stay afloat.  We haven't been able to add to it, but at least it's not shrinking.

-Speaking of our wedding fund, we have enough money saved up/spent already to pay for the entire wedding and honeymoon except for alcohol at the reception.  Hoping we can save up for it.  If not, we'll just have a dry wedding, no biggie.

Good luck on the shelf exam, Rachel!

1.  I'm stressed about leading discussion in my diversity class on Wednesday.  A classmate and I are resonsible for leading class for the whole two hours.  Both of us our science people, so this is new territory for us.

2.  DH had today off.  He's never gotten Columbus day off for work/school before, so he was really excited.  We went out for lunch at a Mexican place to celebrate.

3.  My place is a mess too.

4.  I went to sephora for the first time this weekend with a friend.  I actually had a lot of fun playing with stuff and ended p spending just over $100.  I couldn't believe I spent so much on makeup, and my friend couldn't believe I'd never spent that much on makeup before.

5.  DH and I watched Runaway Jury. I thought I'd read it before, but I didn't remember anything, so I guess I hadn't.

1. This is the second week of school for me and despite my worries about taking 20 units I am doing fine.

2.  My place is also a mess because I baked apple pie yesterday.

3. Learning balance is hard for H and I but we are working on it. 

4. I am really tired all the time; it would be nice to not be so tired.

-I've been MIA because my work computer got all messed up and I had a big ol' project to work on. But now it's fixed and I'm back around!
-Other than that... nothing new and exciting. I'm in a lull wedding wise. We are registering this Saturday though.
-And we got our workbooks/books to start our own pre-marital counseling, since it hasn't worked out to do one through a therapist yet. Annd that's about it!

- Fall break (aka catch up week)

-DH turned 26 last Wednesday

- Apartment is also a disaster

-My parents are coming up from FL on thursday night so I have to get my place looking nice before then but I am sooo looking forward to spending time with them

- 2 midterms down...two to go

- DH finishes up with his guest preaching at a church an hour away this coming sunday. It's been nice but I can't wait to get back to our regular church family.

1. School is kicking H's butt...and it's only October. I can't waaaait for November/December. Not.

2. I haven't been getting as many hours at work as I used to. I found out it's because we hired another person. I wasn't under the impression we needed another employee, but my boss apparently thought we did and now we all are getting less hours. Lovely.

3. I popped at some point last week and I feel large now. Super!

4. It's taken me a month to read half of Game of Thrones. Ridiculous. I'm usually a reading machine but my attention span just isn't there.

5. We've decided on baby names and are debating between staying team green and finding out the gender at the a/s on the 20th.

1.  My coworker (who basically does the exact same job as me) was out sick yesterday and today at work, so I had to do both of our jobs.  I normally do 10ish work orders in a day, 20 if it was a crazy day.  Yesterday I did 29 and today I did 34.  0_0

2.  I feel like DH and I are behind on the bills.  We actually aren't, but we don't have as much "extra" money as I would like.  We are living completely on my income and it sucks.

3.  DH has gotten a commission-only job.  I'm glad that he HAS a job, but it almost doesn't count.  We've been doing his marketing ourselves, and he spends 3 days a week at the office for no pay.  We're technically LOSING money on gas, clothes, business cards, his lunches, etc.

4.  Mine and DH's first wedding anniversary is right around the corner!  Woohoo!

5.  I secretly wish we could get out of DH's niece's birthday party Saturday, lol.
