Photographers in Seattle?

I'm desperately in need of recommendations for a wedding photographer in Seattle.  I'd like to keep the photography budget to around 2,000, but I know that may not be realistice around here....if so, a reality check would also be great!  Can you recommend a photographer for us?

Thanks!
-Sabrina

You can definitely get a photographer under $2000.  We're using C2 Photography, husband & wife team, very artistic.

Mike Kane is our photographer. We're so excited to do e-photos with him soon! He's a former PI photographer, so has a photojournalistic style and a fantastic eye for detail. Check out his site: http://mikekanephotography.com/weddings/

FI and I are going with Amelia Soper, she is comparable in price to Jenny GG and really has a great energy and personality.

We're using Kristen Honeycutt (so is Trisha), and I am SO excited!  Her style is very similar to JennyGG's (they're friends).  E-pics next Tuesday, I can't wait!

LaLuzphotography.com is fabulous.  It will be 3000 for 6 hours, but I think she has packages that start at 1800, or maybe it was 2200. at any rate, her work is wonderful.

I'm also using Cheryl with in a frame photography. I think she's pretty reasonably priced, and she seems to frequently have booking specials. When I booked there was an option of a free photobooth or boudoir photography session.

    We're using Libby Lewis - www.libbylewis.com.

We also considered J&J Photography. That studio is owned by Jen & Jody Photography, one of the premier photo studios in Seattle. All of the photographers who work with J&J Photography are trained by Jen and Jody, though because it is not Jen & Jody, it's a little cheaper to work with them.

I am using Amy Walton @ www.waltonphotography.com!  She has done all my friends photos and she's amazing, sweet , and affordable.  She has a Facebook and uploads many of her weddings so you can see for yourself.

A really good girlfriend of mine (we went to college together) just had her wedding in the Seattle Area, and she used Caren Morris Photography. She is an up a comer in the area apparently, and her prices are still reasonable. We just got back from the wedding and my gf said that she absolutely loved her, she said she was really accomidating, had a bunch of packages to choose from (and I hear is pretty open to negotiations on $$$).......... And most importantly she got to keep the didgital images, and wasn't forced to buy a bunch of really expensive prints after the fact! I wish I could fly her out for my wedding!!! I think if I can find a  little bit extra in the budget I think I might! her website is carenmorrisphotography.com. I really hope that helps you!
