Back from the HM!

It's officially the last day of the HM - we returned on Friday, picked up my cat and a few more of my clothes from my parents, then I moved in to the apartment!  It's been a whirlwind of a weekend, getting curtains, putting the wedding gifts we have ROOM for somewhere in the apartment, and figuring out how to store all of the extra things we just don't have room in this small one-bedroom apartment!  So ... I'm back to TK!!!! 

As far as updates go, I know a few of you have kept up with me on facebook so I'll leave out the extra details, but I've had some interviews, and I'm now a finalist for a job in the same county as the apartment which is good.  Hoping to hear soon from that position.  I have an interview about 3 hrs away tomorrow.  A few more job applications I have put out there over the weekend as well. 

I don't have enough time this week to catch up on the board's THOUSANDS of posts but I will definitely get back involved!!   Glad to be back home and MARRIED!!! :-D

Welcome back!!!  I totally know what you're going through with the gifts...there are several boxes in our tiny storage area that won't be unpacked until we're in a bigger place.  There's seriously no room left.

I hear ya on the gifts staying in storage. DH and I kept most of our bridal shower and wedding gifts in their original boxes in storage until we moved down here to FL because our place in CT was too small and we knew we were eventually moving. So it made it much easier to transport everything in their original boxes when it did come time to move.

Got to work on cleaning a bit ... the husband needs some clean clothes and I figure I'll help him out since we just got a new washer/dryer as a gift from my parents ... they're my BABIES!!! :-)
