Hey! My computer power cord broke on June 21st and I didn't get it replaced until July 8th, and then I've been doing other things catching up online and hadn't made it over here.
Ryan and I will be getting married in December. We are finally being firm about a timeline. I am determined to get married by the end of the year.
We won't be getting a US wedding, barring winning the lottery. So I'm adjusting to the fact that my parents won't be at my wedding. However, one good thing about December is that my older sister may be able to come! She is a school teacher and she and her husband usually travel to somewhere in the world each Christmas holiday. Last year was Austria and a few other European countries if I remember correctly. So I'm hoping she'll do India and her sister's wedding this year!
If she can come, we'll get married during her school holidays. If not, we'll probably go for the first half of December so we can be settled into our new place by Christmas.
My best friend Lydia will also come, but that will probably be it. But I'll have one representative from my family adn one from my friends, so that will be a lot better than none.
As our financial station stands we can do this... by the skin of our teeth. I am looking for work, so keep me in your prayers, it would be such a blessing to have any income. I will be selling my posessions soon, a necessary thing I need to do since I won't be taking most of it with me anyway ,and we need the money. I don't have anything valuable though and will be happy if it comes out to $300.
I think I *may* have found my dress, I am excited, but we will see.
Ryan has been researching visas lately, to make sure we do this right. We're "full steam ahead" right now!
