I saw that both of you saw the new Bridesmaids movie. What did you think? I would love to see it with my girls, but I hate swearing and vulgarity and I feel like most of the R-rated movies lately are awful when it comes to that stuff. I don't watch R-rated movies anymore because of that. Was it vulgar?

Hi! The movie was funny but definitely crude.. The beginning had lots of sex and throughout the movie there was references to sex, a girl on girl kiss, alcohol being consumed, etc. The best way I can describe it is like "The Hangover" for women. I didn't see the hangover but that is what the girl who saw it with me said it was like. Overall, it was funny but if you don't enjoy the types of things I listed above, you may want to rethink it or wait for it to be out on DVD.

Actually I appreciate this too - sorry to butt in I was debating seeing this but I'm not a huge fan of the vulgarity either. Thanks for your overview

I actually have a question about this... I have a really weak stomach when it comes to tv and movies and people throwing up on screen. I saw the previews for this movie that they get food poisoning or something.. do they actually show any of the girls throwing up?

Now that's something I could really do without.. I can ignore vulger comments and profanity since I'm around it all the time at work and with some friends, but watching a movie and then all of a sudden someone throws up really makes me yicky.

I believe they show a girl's "vomit", not real but still icky. They also show them "having diarrhea" and "vomiting" in the bathroom. The scene is actually quite funny but is pretty gross.

thanks! i am butting in to on this. my FSIL wanted to see this REALLY bad.... but i again am very picky with my movies. I was worried about the content since it is rated R.

Thanks for the link! Reading that made me really sad. It upsets me how people feel they need to put words and content like that in movies in order for people to watch them. I am definitely not going to see it after reading that. I'm glad I posted this haha!
