XP Non-traditional Recessional

I'm having a very hard time finding a recessional that isn't all organ music (BLEHH). I want something a little more peppy and exciting than the "normal" recessionals. I joked with my mom that we would have the Hallelujah chorus.

Why is finding ONE song so difficult?!?

We are having bag pipes played. To honor my scottish heritage. Since we are getting married at FI college, bag pipes were a big part of the drum line and band.

the link above is the song we are planning on walking out of the church to, minus the drums.

<div>This is one of the things I am most looking forward to. Our guests are going to be so shocked. The bagpiper is going to lead our guests to the reception while the wedding party goes in another direction for pictures.</div>

I also wanted something upbeat so we did "Ode to Joy" (aka "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee" ).

Hopefully you'll hear something soon that calls out to you as the right song!

FI and I were tossing about having "The Anthem" by Good Charlotte as our recessional song. I'd love it. I doubt that our Pastor would let us use it.

We definitely want something fun, not stuffy....but....our wedding is far off....so we have plenty of time to decide.

"Who died and made you Dagon?" - stackeye210 I'm supposed to be falling for myself...and not falling for just any guy out there in the world.....

H and I used "Linus and Lucy" (the Charlie Brown theme) as our recessional. It was super-cute.
