Major prayers needed

Two things:

1) I just found out that a friend from high school passed away last night.  From what we know, it was an accident where he fell from a balcony.  I'm not sure where he stood with his faith these days, but he was such a kind gentlemen in HS and a wonderful friend.

2) Two nights ago there were several churches in Cairo Egypt that were burnt to the ground by mobs.  I have two relatives who work for the PentecostaI Church in Cairo, a couple friends I worked with, and a student who just moved back to Cairo Thursday.  I don't know which churches, and none of those who died were foreigners, but it's still scary to think about all the tension over there, especially towards Christianity.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. I will be praying for his family, him and his friends. It's always so tragic to lose someone, even if you hadn't been in touch for awhile.

I too have been praying for peace in the Middle East. The hostility towards Christianity is incredibly upsetting. Your family and friends are in my prayers!

It's hard when a person passes without any health warning or unexpectedly.  Definitely praying.  Sorry to hear about the churches in Egypt.  People do really evil things in the world nowadays, and it makes me sad that some can't find a way to let everyone have the religious freedom that they crave so much.
