Bridal Party Gifts?

What are you ladies buying for your bridal party (specifically the groomsmen)? I'm having trouble finding things for them. I don't want to do flasks or anything with golf.

I'm letting my FI pick things for his guys.  I have no idea what he will get them.  Probably not a flask/cufflinks/watch.  Maybe a hockey stick, squash racquet, new jacket...

Have you asked your FI if he has any ideas?  It also depends on how much you want to spend.  If they drink, a bottle of their favourite whiskey/liquor and a nice thank-you note?
  • BM:
     - flip flops for BM
     - necklace for MOH
     - mints
     - candle (in a design that represents them - ie: coffee mug with a brown candle in it for my sister because she LOVES coffee)
     - tide to go pens
     - their dresses :)
     - tote with their nicknames on them in their favorite color
     - photo album for MOH
     - I'm not sure what else..... :)

    GM:
     - we bought the guys suits and shoes they get to keep.  :P

Edited to add:  The girls' gifts were really inexpensive - so don't think I spent a lot of money on them!!  I think all together it was $200 WITH their dresses.  :)

@naomikb, FI said "idk, get them a shirt or something." He isn't real good with gift-giving ideas.

Only one drinks but I don't want to give just him a flask or something. I think it would be strange.

DH bought the GM gifts.  He got mugs with each guy's favorite sports team and a deck of cards for each guy with his favorite sports team.  DH loves sports - can you tell?

I got my girls' stuff, but FI hasn't decided on the guys' stuff yet. He has no clue what to buy them and neither do I!

Haha... yeah he's not being too helpful!  And yes, one guy with a flask would be strange.

    A few more ideas...
    - cufflinks
    - pocketknife
    - pocketwatch
    - gift certificate to their favourite restaurant/iTunes/paintball place
    - box of cigars
    - BBQ tool set
    - tickets to a baseball/hockey/football/basketball game

It doesn't have to be something they'll keep forever displayed on their mantle, since most guys won't keep something that long!  :)

FH is getting them Armani ties. I got my girls silk pashminas and pearl earrings.

I like the BBQ tool set idea.  I think both of the groomsmen would like them  Good thinking.

Um...so maybe we are weird (ok, maybe not "maybe haha!).; We are buying our entire bridal party copies of "This Momentary Marriage" by John Piper and writing a note inside to each individual. Since they are standing up there with us, we wanted to give them something that showed them what we wanted our marriage o be like so they can encourage us, and that we hope their future marriages will involve. Our group is all into reading and loved the idea. I know it probably doesn't work for most people, but for our closeknit group of friends it was hte perfect solution. =)

i'm giving my bridesmaids a each a necklace and a little monogramed jewellery box. FI is picking groomsman gifts - and he's wanting to buy something different for each guy depending on his interests. We have a musician, and he's going to buy him  some blank CD's so he can record his own music on it, and a new guitar strap. for another one, he's going to buy a deck of personalized cards. He loves games and stuff like that. For the third, who's a star wars addict, he's goin to buy some silverware with darth vader's  face on the handle - or mabye some towels with star wars. (he's a senior in high school, and will be graduating and moving to his own place by our wedding)

We have no clue about the groomsmen yet... FI is playing with a few ideas like a gift card to a ticket purchasing forum like stub-hub, or maybe golf stuff... he's kind of lost on it but he's not worried yet, haha, the procrastinator!!  It is so much easier to buy for girls than it is for guys!

We shopped for each individually.  Our friends are not the same, we wouldn't buy them identical birthday or Christmas gifts, so we didn't see any reason to buy them identical thank you gifts.
