So scary!

Yesterday as we were walking through the church parking lot, FI said, "You know, if we have a surprise baby, we could easily be celebrating a first Easter this time next year..." So weird that that's posisble!

How was everyone's Easter?

Oh man! I totally know how you feel! One of my friends made a comment a couple weeks ago that I could possibly be a mother by that time next year. I completely freaked out!

  • It's weird to think that we'll have a 6 month old next Easter.  Totally crazy.
  • I guess you can see it potentially as a good thing.  On the flip side, it's sadder to think there's no possibility you will ever a kid one year from now.

  • Aww, we have no idea when we'll be getting a kid lol (won't even have the pregnancy as a warning sign), the adoption agency could call with no notice anytime after we finish the classes/paperwork (which will be done shortly after the wedding) so that's totally a possibility, although I doubt it... lol We want newborn so likely waiting a couple years :)
  • Oh my.. I'm hoping not for me we plan on waiting at least 3 years before kids so I can hopefully finish nursing school . I have an 8 year old , trust me if you can wait give yourself some time to enjoy being married / by yourselves first.  But thats just me.

My poor future sister in law is getting bugged by her parents to get married and have kids and she is not convinced she wants to have kids and she would like to go to law school instead.

Yup yup, totally get that.  :-)  Didn't mean to suggest you were saying it was a bad thing.  I totally get that it's an exciting concept.  I just meant to say that I know women who struggle with the idea that they can't even imagine having a surprise baby because of medical problems, and they never knew that would be a problem until they got married.  It's hard to count the chickens before they're hatched... but I don't mean to put a downer. :-)
  • Since we're nto getting married until the fall, I'd be pregnant next Easter if we had a honeymoon baby.

We talk about it. We wno't be using birth control because I have PCOS, so  I only ovulate occassionally and could easily become infertile and we've agreed it's better to have a baby right away then -not have any ever, which is  a possibility... but if I don't get pregnant right away, we're okay with that too. It'd be nice to have some just-me-and-him time as well.

    So excited for ya'll!
  • If we start "trying" when we plan on it, I could be 8 months or so pregnant by next Easter! However, it doesn't always happen right away, so ya never know!

    Our Easter was great.
