Pray for me?

This has been the hardest time of my life. My younger sister pretty much left our family for a guy about 3 weeks ago. Great strain on our family, especially my parents, just knowing the bad influences and company she now keeps. Two days later my dad's dad passed away. We all went to their hometown two states away- stressful trip due to her presence. (Lies, betrayal, everything.) Anyway, my dad's mom is now not expected to live more than a few days so I'll be driving by myself to pick up my aunt and we'll drive the rest of the way. Dad is out of town on business, hoping to make it there before she passes. The rest of our family will come up later I guess.

Please pray especially for grandma in her last few days, my dad and his siblings as they face another funeral within just a few weeks, all of our travels, and for my younger sister's eyes to be opened. thanks so much.

Sending prayers your way.  I'm very sorry that you are going through all this. 

Reading what you are going through makes me think of the song blessings.  The part of the song that really sticks out in my mind is below.

Actually I can't get away from that song! It is a great song full of truth, but it makes me cry almost everytime (also the part "when friends betray us, when darkness seems to win, the pain reminds this heart, this is not our home").

Thank you so much girls. We didn't end up going today because it sounds like they think she'll be around for a little longer than orginially expected. But of course, that's subject to change. I never imagined that such a happy time of our engagement and planning our life together could also be such a heartbreaking time.

That's good to hear that your grandma is doing  bit better and has a bit more time. 

I will continue to keep you in my prayers. 
The song makes me cry all the time too, but it's a good reminder that sometimes we have to go through hard times for God to show us the great plans he has for us.
