Any blessings this week you want to share?

I got my assignment for my first clinical rotation starting next.  I'll be working in children's pyschiatry, which was my first choice.  I'm really excited about getting to work with kids for 6 weeks.

My bridal shower is in 2 weeks and unexpected (but invited) people are showing up: a good friend from Middle School, my cousin who lives in NC (and has to take time off from work), a friend from elementary school, etc.

So happy to see these people!

I made it through the first week of our reading camp which was not on the priority list for our university apparently.. it's been a long week.

We got our prof pics back and God blessed me with understanding. I was so upset that we only got around 400, but then another bride booked with my photog was upset with her pics and another one emailed me about my experience. I am meeting with her today. I spoke with the photog who also happens to be my best friend and she was sick to her stomach and crying for hours and hours that she put all this hard work into the lady's photos and she is not pleased. It put so much pain in my heart that it nearly tore me apart inside out for being so selfish.

God also blessed me with the chance to see Francis Chan speak. It. was. incredible.

I feel blessed because 2 people I know well are about 12ish weeks pregnant after the one girl had a miscarriage and the other had 2 miscarriages. It's a blessing that they have gotten this far. If you can, please pray that their babies will be born healthy in 2013.

I am blessed that I have the most understanding fiance ever. I was quite sick the end of last week, and he took care of me, did all the driving for us to go north for our wedding planning weekend, etc. He's SO patient with me when I'm not feeling well or my health gets in our way!

It's called Momentum. It's a "youth" conference. buildmomentum.org is the website I think.
It was great. I am going to start reading one of his books as soon as I am done with my curent series. Which should be in 3 or 4 months.

I feel blessed because things are just good all around in life at the moment and I have exciting things to look forward to. And I feel blessed because in one month I will be going to meet a new niece or nephew!

We're on vacation with my entire immediate family. Last time we were all together was Christmas...and the next time we'll be together is Christmas. So I'm grateful for the blessing of time together.

First week at my new job is going really well .. I feel confident and comfortable with most things and i'm not getting too stressed and crazylike.. People seem to like me and i'm not having any of the issues I went through at the last few places I've worked...

Healthcare can be really brutal/drama etc. and this place dosnt seem to have as much [ not it's not flawless] So i'm hoping for a good start to my new job to continue.


AND i got my wedding jewelery in the mail today YAY ...

a lil bling with flowers and pearls... Love it

I start my new job on Monday, which is such a blessing that I will be working again.  

It is such a blessing that in the midst of grief so many people come out to bless those who are grieving.  A family from my childhood church lost their 17 year old son very suddenly at the beginning of the week.  It has been a really hard week, but to see so many people come out for them is truly amazing.
