Christian Weddings

I'm back...I think!

So, last week I moved out of the dorms and into the apartment FI and I are going to be living in after the wedding...and then I started my new lab job which is between 40 and 60 hours a week.

It's been pretty bare bones so far and one of the things I'm without is internet. There's supposed to be internet for the entire building but I can only access it one room of the apartment and it kicks me off every 15 minutes. Great, huh?

FI's apartment (which is right down the hall from mine) gets great signal, so I'm camping out here for a few hours :P

Between that and being so completely exhausted from my job, I haven't had time or opportunity to get on TK. I'm reading through posts from the last couple days now. Missed you guys!

Yes. It's a field and lab Sustainable and Organic Agriculture research position at my university. It will probably continue on a part time basis in the fall, but right now it's full time. I loooove it!

We missed you too! I feel lost if I go a day without coming to this board- the girls here have become like friends and everyone is so encouraging! I love it!

Have fun at your new job!

Good luck at the new job -- I'm SO glad that you love it!  It's hard to find a job that we can love in this economy... because the jobs are so scarce (especially in my area), people will take a job even if they don't love it just because it's "a job."  Shoot, I did the same for the last 3 months of school this year.  Took a job just because it was full time pay and benefits.  Never mind that I really don't like working at this particular school... but that will hopefully all change this summer!!! :-)

No kidding. I was worried I wouldn't like it and would be stuck with it for the summer, so God really provided an awesome opportunity for me.

I'm not sure if you'll see this or not, so if I don't get a response, I'm going to start a new thread and ask you, but what's the latest on your job search for next year? I hope you aren't stuck in that crummy school again...
