pre-wed counseling - suggestions?

I'd like to explore pre-martial counseling and am wondering if anyone has a recommendation on the Eastside.  Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Issaquah are all good.  Also, if you've done it, do you feel it was invaluable?

Thanks!

But why wouldn't you serve ice cream with the cake?

I'm not sure if you've found one yet, but a lot of officiants, esp religious ones, require/provide pre-marital counseling. :-/ Sorry I haven't started yet...

We did 6 or 8 session with Kat Allen (West Seattle). She's a bit out of our way, but we had Saturday sessions so we made a brunch date out of it afterwards.
The best $600 we ever spent. We want to see her every few years just keep the honey mood alive.

My church required us to get premarital counseling. With our work schedules, we knew a weekly meeting for 6-8 weeks would be difficult. So, we did an Engaged Encounter weekend, even though we're not Catholic. It was fabulous! So helpful, even though my now-husband and I have been together for five years and we thought we had talked about everything. It just brought us even closer together and made us even more excited about our future. It was only $200 or so for the weekend. You don't have to be Catholic, or really religious for that matter. Really there is very little talk of religion. More info. at http://www.ceeseattle.org/.
