What was your first car?

1988 Volvo, 4 dr sedan.  It had heated seats, but not a single cupholder.

1994 Ford Tempo.  I got it as a surprise 17th bday gift from my mom.  I wasn't actually legally able to drive yet but it was motivation to take drivers ed!!  The car lasted me about 3 years until the transmission failed. i ended up seling it to a guy who needed it's parts to fix his sister's tempo.

1997 Honda Civic. My parents bought it used with about 60,000 miles on it. I bought it off them when I was student teaching. I still have it over 8 years later - the only car I've ever owned.

1991 Mitsubishi Might Max.  It was a badass green truck with no powered steering and a manual.  I love him so much.  Sadly my brother is driving him now and I feel like a fatal collision for Max is inevitable.

1997 Honda CRV, though I bought it in 2006 - I wasn't even old enough to drive in 1997.  We took it in yesterday to have the oil changed and tires rotated.  Apparently I needed three new tires and new windshield wipers as well.  I know it sounds weird to need three new tires, but I had a flat a couple of years ago, so one tire is relatively new.  I'm hoping this car lasts me another couple of years!

1990 Honda Accord that my parents bought for me because they didn't want to drive me around anymore haha. It was a good car! I had it for 5 years until I finished college and got a job and bought myself my new Mazda. Aw memories...

I actually just got it May of 2011, at the end of my first year of medical school. I didn't even get my license until the summer before that. I'm a late bloomer when it comes to driving.

2000 Pontiac Grand Am. My mom bought it new and gave it to be after my sophomore year of college. My mechanic told me to give up on it last year. It had a good run though!

97ish honda civic (I am drawing a blank on the year). I got it my junior year in college. I traded it in when I got my first "grown up" job in 2006 for a Scion Tc.

89 Ford Tempo .. Lasted my family about 11 years... Had it just a few months till i was really dead .. may she rest in peace...
Then began my VW obsession ... 93 Red Golf 4 door with a sun roof it was the cutest car ever .. LOVED it...

1986 Toyota MR2. I loved that car. I got it in 97, then it broke in 98. Loved it so much I got another one in 2000 after driving ageo metro convertible for a few months. The second Mr2 hung around until www sold it in 2004.
