How are you doing on the things you gave up/took up?

I gave up sweets and it is really hard this week thanks to TOM.

    I gave up secular books (and technically picked up Christian books since I try to be reading at least one book at all times) and have been doing spectacular.  I am currently reading More Than Ordinary: Enjoying Life with God by Doug Sherman.

    DH and I picked up a Lent devotional study and have been doing it every night.  We haven't missed a day yet.

    So I'd say I'm doing pretty well!
