Mom Gifts? Dad Gifts?

Any ideas or advice from others on gifts for Mother of Bride (has been a HUGE part of helping out with our wedding!!) and Father of Bride (not so involved)?

What kind of budget do you have for the gifts? 

At my RD I gave my mom and MIL gifts (MOB/MOG tote bags with random goodies they could use on the wedding day; kleenex, bottle of water, etc), and just gave my dad and FIL cards since they are hard to shop for and don't like unnecessary spending $$$ on themselves.

small budget but wanted to do something meaningful especially for my mom since without her we would not be having a wedding (has funded nearly half of it!)

We got my mom a piece of jewelry with H's birthstone and HIS mom a piece with my birthstone.. 

They both LOVED the sentiment. 

H's day we got super-rad star trek cuff links.. because H's family is dorky like that )
