Re: Wednesday QOTD

  • I do, however haven't had much of a chance the last couple years (all I have is like 5 big pots up on our porch this year). I am a HUGE lover of red roses (those that know anything about my wedding are totally not suprised by that lol)
  • I would in theory, but I can't seem to keep any plant alive. I stink at gardening. :(
  • I don't like gardening... but my favourite flowers are Orchids... :)

  • It's hard living in an apartment to garden a lot. I do have a a fairly big basil plant and a rosemary plant that haven't died yet. I may venture into growing lilies or hydrangeas or something like that at some point in the future.
  • I thought I would, but not a huge fan, at least not yet... We don't have a drip system so it's a pain to go out all the time to water my pots. Lol. But I do like having flowers back there, and one day when I have a big yard I do want to garden! Favorite flower- orange roses!

  • No. I managed to kill a cactus once.  We do have a basil plant now.  He's doing pretty well.  I pay more attention to him because I like having fresh basil on my pasta.  Yes, it's a "he".  His name is Mr. Basil.

  • I looooove gardens and wish I had space to garden. I love peonies, cherry blossoms, wysteria flowers, jasmine, bougainvilleas.... My spelling may be off on that last one!

Silk flowers all the way.  :D  I don't know if I have said it before or not.  My Dad and sister are highly allergic too.  It will be much better for the whole family.  Plus my friend found flowers at Garden Ridge that are silk but feel completely real.

  • I do not like flowers at all.  I am pretty much allergic to anything that's green and grows.  I can't walk through the flower section in the grocery store without sneezing (I've learned to hold my breath if I have to pass it).  The only flowers at my wedding will be a fake bouquet I found at Hobby Lobby.

  • I like the produce that comes from my garden.  But my goal is to tend it as little as possible (minimal weeding, water as necessary) to keep it going.  I haaaate weeding, it is so hot and sweaty and tedious.

Favourite flower - peonies are gorgeous in bouquets!  And anemones.
  • Dandelions.... yep i'm that person
    Love is All You Need
  • This may seem silly but i hate flower gardens because I have a phobia  bees and most other bugs you would find in a flower garden. Ironically, I love flowers. Favorites are dasies, tupils, hydrangas, peonies, and wild flowers. If I had a larger budget (15-30K vs my 5k), I would have gone nuts with flowers everywhere.

  • I kill pretty much everything.  I am no longer allowed to try to grow plants, per my husband.

For a long time, the only flower I knew was a fuchsia.  Now I know and can recognize fuchsia, gerber daisy, rose, dahlia...yeah, that's about it.  For our wedding I told our florist I wanted purple roses for my boquet and whatever was in season for everything else.
  • Not really but I love gardens so I think I will have to in the future. My mom is a master gardener and I've grown up with it and an't imagine not having it.

I like blabk Irises and begonias. Oh and zinnias.

  • I'm not an outdoorsy type person, so gardening isn't something I've ever wanted to do.  I do love roses and peonies though.

  • Plants die under my care, even though I care for them properly so when we do finally at least have a balcony, H will be doing most of the gardening. I did not inherit my dad's green thumb.

My favorite flower is sunflowers. Not that you could tell from my wedding pictures. lol

<div>I haven't done much gardening with flowers but back in May I was given four tomato plants, and eight pepper plants :) I was so scared that they would die off, but low and behold, they are thriving! My new-found love is definitely gardening!</div>
