**Amongthelilies**

I made sloppy lasagna tonight and it was so good (and easy).  It's one of those recipes I'll need to share with you when you get married. I also made a rosemary foccacia bread to go with it that was really good!!!  If you register for a Kitchen Aid mixer, I can tell you how to make that too!

Totally butting in, but A) everyone needs a Kitchen Aid mixer, preferably in a fun/funky color and B) if anyone needs/wants any recipes, let me know.  I totally remember that "oh crap, I have to make dinner every night now?!" feeling.  I basically lived on cereal before we got married!

I can't WAIT until I buy my kitchenaid.  I use my mom's ALL the time.  I want the 600 model (6 qt, more powerful motor).  Us southern girls gotta make a lot of bread for our husbands and families!! If someone surprises us with a gift we'll be eternally grateful!! I am saving up $$ for it regardless!! :-)

Kelly, my godparents bought our kitchenaid for us as an engagement present.  I was SHOCKED.  Seriously, didn't expect that.  They gave it to us at Thanksgiving the year before we got married.  It was all I could do not to break it out and use it, but H wanted me to keep it in storage until we were married.  Thankfully my mom also has one so I just used hers in the meantime.

Mine is red, but I also covet the aqua, tangerine and yellow.  I wish they made them like those watches where you could change the bands so I could change the color on a whim.  What color do you all want?

I got mine on Black Friday for about $130 and because it was so cheap, I didn't have a choice of colors - mine is white.  But there aren't many colors that would have gone well with my kitchen.  I didn't register for one because I didn't want anyone spending that much money on me.  Mine is a 5-qt like this only in white:

I am hoping to get "nickel pearl" color - it will be perfect in the kitchen with my other decor which is a lot of metallics and neutral tans.  :-)
