This is a long post, but I've had a productive few days, and am feeling better having all these things done:
Cupcakes tower painted, assembled and ribbon applied.
Daughters' dresses (serving as BMs) arrived
Flowers ordered
All of my clothing except for dress purchased and arrived. (Waiting for dress is agonizing!)
Music pretty much selected. FI hasn't listened to selections yet, but getting him to participate in much WR stuff is difficult. He wants things a certain way, but won't sit down and make the decisions. UGH!
RSVPs are coming in - deadline is Friday - will be making phone calls next week if necessary.
Arrangements made for my daughters while we are on HM.
Makeup lesson made (I don't wear makeup, so this should be interesting.)
Haircut and nail appointments made for pre-wedding cut and mani/pedi. (Also something I'm not accustomed to.)
My vows are written - Hope FI gets his done since we need to send them to his cousin (youth pastor our officiant) a few days before the wedding.
Still to do:
finalize day before and day of plans
ceremony verbiage - I think we have the parts of the ceremony selected, but haven't ironed out the details of the verbiage for those parts.
order cupcakes - waiting for RSVPs though - only need a weeks notice
finalize what reception food will be - we are going back and forth between just cupcakes, fruit trays, cheese & crackers trays, with punch and sandwich buffet with fruit trays, veggie trays, pasta salad, chips, etc...
Good news - we are both wanting this to be a fun, casual, relaxed time with family and friends without all the stress of a formal event. So far so good!
I'm so ready to finish this up and move on with starting our lives together.
