I am going to walk down the aisle to "trumpets voluntary". FMIL suggested it and I love it.

We're going non-traditional.  I am walking to "Our Spanish Love Song" by Charlie Haden.

I'm thinking a sped-up version of Canon in D that I found on youtube, and will ask our musician to see if he can make work.  If that doesn't work ... dunno yet.  :)

I am considering between two different songs. One is Over the Rainbow and the other which I also really like is Collide by Howie Day. The beginning instrumental of it is really pretty I think. I have videos of both songs in my bio.

Also my FI originally wanted me walk to Canon in D. You could look up that one.

I'm walking down to Celtic Woman's Ave Maria.  I really like the harp in it.

Before I found this song, I was going to do more contemporary/modern music and wanted At Last by Etta James...its very fitting for our relationship. :)

Ok, we are doing something completely different...

We are doing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Christmas Canon Rock, but we are not doing the typical instrumental / classical one... BUT we are doing the electric guitar version... which from what I am told there is a version with Metallica... We are Metallica fans :) This song just gives me goose bumps whenever I hear it.  :) My DJ is researching it for us.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAR52yCoX60 (but slowed down when it gets all crazy!) I LOVE IT!

We're doing Canon in D. I HATE the wedding march song. My opinion, but I think it's on its way out... cross fingers!

Haven't decided.  Canon in D would be my fall back but I'm considering some other choices still.

We used Perpetuum Mobile by Penguin Cafe Orchestra. We were looking for something unique and our DJ gave us a few suggestions.
It was not anything I had heard of before, and the first time I listened to it I fell in love!

On the topic, the Wedding March, ugh! Puke. And no offense to all the ladies who are using it, Canon in D at this point gets the same reaction from me, it's become the new cliche. (Except for angstocker's version, as Metallica changes it up.)

I still can't figure out if we'll even be able to have music for our ceremony. I'm also not sure if my official BFF will make it up from AZ in which case, the procession will only be my MOH and then me. If it's that short of a procession, I'm thinking of trying to get a less-cheesy version of I'm Looking Over a 4Leaf Clover.

I'm walking to Trumpet Voluntary, too. Should sound amazing on the church organ.

    breezyblueyez - lol you're welcome! I'm glad I could help :)
Also, my DJ suggested that we walk down the aisle to the traditional Cannon d and then walk out to the rock version.... I like this idea, but am not totally set on it - what do you think? I like it cause the rock version is more like "hell ya" and the other version is all polite & stuff. so i'd be funny cause it would be like saying "hell ya we're hitched"... lol
