The last novelish book I read was A Civil Action last fall.  I had to read it for a law class, but it's based on a true story that happened here in Boston.  It was about a case brought after some companies dumped toxic waste and a bunch of kids ended up with leukemia.  It offers really good glimpses not only into law and how it's done, but on protecting those who are vulnerable.  It used to be a #1 best seller.
  • I wacthed that movie because John Travolta was in it... !

It does hit a couple dry points, but I found it always ended up picking up again if I was patient :P
  • The last book I finished I didn't like.  I'm reading The Kite Runner now.  I'm also stopping by the library on my way to my stats final to pick up another book.  I need to look at my goodreads list to decide what to get.

</div><div>I just finished Same Kind of Different as Me. Literally cried for 2 hours. Read half of it in a few hours because I was so sucked in. If you haven't read it yet you need to! </div><div>
</div><div>I just started The Lucky One. Not exactly fine literary work, but easy books like that are good for keeping my mind off of sitting on an excercise bike for way too long :)</div>

  • I don't normally read, never really enjoyed it.  But lately I've been getting the itch to start reading more.

Re-read 5LL for a book club discussion and then had a really good talk with my Little Sister about it...

Next on my list is Sophie Kinsella's I Got Your Number... looking forward to a light fluffy read.
  • I've been reading the Bride Quartet series. :)
