I feel a whole lot of awful , I was at a midnight showing . Should I even post about the movie itself ? I feel like I cant... My dad asked me how was the movie and I said , I cant comment on it after recent events its just too much ... yes i was across the country but still ...

I'm horrified by shootings everytime they happen ... Columbine shook me really hard when I was in high school I did a paper on school shootings. It's always just broken my heart I know we cant keep evil away but the fact is these kids/people who shoot like that need help and are so LOST. I pray for anyone who feels whatever way that young mad did and that someone will show him come compassion and the love of God in their life that this would not happen again .

Theres too much about those movies sometimes that gives people "idea" if you know what I mean . Not they may have done so regardless of content but you know what I mean . But blame on movies or gun control are not going to solve anything at this point ...

Incredibly sad and shocking. How somebody can plan and execute something so heinous at an entertainment venue of all places just defies logic.

Praying for the victims, and also that law enforcement are able to stop any potential copycats.

I have friends who live in Colorado Springs but when I read this article I couldn't remember that.  I was freaking out until they texted me back saying that they weren't there.  I pray for all the people who this has affected.  Such a horrible thing to happen no matter the location.

So so sad. I am praying for the families as well and for those injured. These things always break my heart. I just don't understand it.

My mom runs a diognostic radiology department in the city it happened. At the time they weren't sure how many gunmen there were or if they were in the hospital somewhere. I got a frantic call at 3am that she was heading into a situation with "active shooters." Not the funnest call to receive! Thankfully she is safe, but my hometown is definately greiving the loss. It's been a rough summer for CO for sure!

I went to see the Batman movie last night and I'll admit, we were a little nervous. They had extra security. I bet all theaters did and still do now. I just pray that the guy will find Jesus.

Same here.  DH and I went to see it today, and there was a cop car hanging out outside the theater, and they came around a couple of times to make sure the emergency exit doors were fully closed.  DH and I sat near an exit.  I was a bit nervous, but I enjoyed the movie anyway.  It's just sad that you have to steel your courage before going to the MOVIES for crying out loud.
