Need help/opinions on Scripture readings

 I've been looking through my Bible for passages to be read at my wedding and I'm a little confused as to what is "appropriate." (Although I know it's my wedding and I can select what I want, I admit I care about being appropriate more than I probably should.)

 

These are my top 3 passages

Colossians 3:1-4, 12-17

 

1 John 4:7-18

 

Genesis 2:18-24

Does anyone have recommendations for other lovely passages?

i love love LOVE Genesis 2:18-24 and will probably use it in my wedding! My FI always says that i am "his rib". (:

We're using the Colossians passage (sans v.1-4) and then a passage by Frederick Beuchner that I found on TK.  Good luck!

I like the 1 John one! We are using it for ours, but we are just doing 1 John 4: 7-12.

We are using 1Corinthians 13:4 that passage and Ephesians 5:22 i think it is.
