My fiance is a leader of our church's youth group. Today the message was What Whould Jesus have YOU do, one thing that said was that in order to go to the next level with God we need to start doing the simple things that Jesus would want us to do. Like not judging people, treating people just as we want to be treated. I started to think about what part of my life do I need to follow this better. And since I'm getting married in less than 5 months I visit the Knot Frequently.
I find myself judging people because they are either being too "Bridezillaish" or they are not being very nice to the OP and I think what a B@#$H. And I realize that since I can spend alot of time on the knot that I should start right here.
I also think gosh there are alot of posts out there that I'm sure the OP would feel much better if people thought before they answered "What Would Jesus Have Me Do?" Then instead of people getting yelled at for what they are thinking about doing, they may actually get some nice advise. Now I'm not trying to stand on a soap box because I sure know I can sometimes not be very nice on some of the posts, weather it is to and OP or to someone who is commenting on the OP. I have decided that I am going to start my "What WOuld Jesus have me do" thinking here on the knot.
I figure if I can think of that before I right something to a total stranger it would be much easier to think that way before writing to a person I know and love.
So before you say something to someone weather on the Knot, on Facebook, or in person think "What Would Jesus Have Me do?"
