4. What is one thing you remember about FIRST grade? We had an egg carton that we would use for counting.  We would put one Captain Crunch cereal in the first, two in the second, etc.  When we had all 12, the teacher would come check and then we could eat them! 

5. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane? In college I flew from Buffalo, NY to Baltimore, MD

6. Do you still talk to your FIRST best friend?  No.  We are FB friends but we don't really keep in touch.

7. How old were you when you were in a wedding for the FIRST time?  8 (I was flower girl for my aunt)

8. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?  Get out of bed, hit the bathroom and then work out.

1. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?  Skillet, Relient K, Pillar, and I think one or two more.  If you mean like BIG concert, Keith Urban/Carrie Underwood.  2. What was your FIRST job?  Claire's Botique during the summer.  I was good at it and I probably should have stayed there longer. 3. What was your FIRST car?  I still have it - 2000 Dodge Neon ES (red) 4. What is one thing you remember about FIRST grade?   My mom subbed!!  And I always called her "mom" when I had a question and she always told me to call her "Mrs. Orndorff."  I said ok, then proceeded to call her mom again.  That and we wrote Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious across the board letter by letter, each time we did something awesome as a class we got a letter.  When it was spelled out we got candy or something.  5. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?  Florida!!  To Disney World, Sea World, Epcot, and Clearwater Beach. 6. Do you still talk to your FIRST best friend? Every once in a blue moon on Facebook, but not that often.  But we are still friends on Facebook at least. 7. How old were you when you were in a wedding for the FIRST time? I'm going to guess - I was a candle lighter for my cousin's wedding and I THINK I was 7 or 8.  They had another cousin who looks like me, so she was the other candle lighter. 8. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?  When FI kissed my forehead and played with my hair and said good-bye, I grabbed his arm (like every morning) and tried to curl up with it because I want cuddles.  I never get them though, even when I try waking him up early before work and try making him get out of his bed to cuddle in mine.  He's always too sleepy.  :P  Which I'm glad he's too sleepy because it's that much less tempting to do ANYTHING.  9. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?  Yes because it's my FI.    I had a first "infatuation" but I would NOT call it love.  We were young, "dated" on and off for like a year, and he was my first kiss.  But he cheated on me a lot, was at one point wanted by the "drug lords" (I hate that name), and knocked up at least one girl, maybe two?  So no.  10. What was the FIRST foreign country you went to?  I've never been anywhere outside the states except the gulf of Mexico.  That counts, right? 11. What is the FIRST movie you remember seeing?  Hahaha "Beth's Alphabet" by Kiddo.  My mom sent in a picture of my face, and they put it on a cartoon bear and the narrator talks to you and goes through the alphabet with you and gives an example for each letter.  I still have it.  It was my favorite movie when I was little and watched it over and over and over again.  My poor mother lol. 12. Did you marry (or are you marrying) the FIRST person who asked your hand in marriage?  Yes and no.  Yes, as in he was the first to have a ring and formally ask, and ask my mom.  No, as in I don't really count the other.  The other guy I dated we talked about it, and we were on a walk and he KIND of asked me but I laughed and made a joke and that made him mad (red flag number 7982) and kept avoiding it because I really didn't want to marry him, and we were even younger than I am now.  And he was NOT right!! 13. What was the FIRST sport that you were involved in? Soccer.  Forever lol.  My dad was the coach and I played like 18 seasons.  I miss it!! 14. What were the FIRST lessons you ever took?  Ugh, piano.  Then drum.  I had to take piano first because that's the base for everything but I couldn't sit still so my mom put me in drum.  I stayed with that way longer!! 15.  What was the FIRST vacation you ever took without your parents? A church canoe trip.  My mom couldn't go, but I wanted to so I went with a family from church, and all the church people.  I was gone like a week.  I left mommy's little girl who cried if she fell down and always wanted to sleep next to her and get cuddles from her - I came back a tomboy who didn't want to be cuddled, coddled, or cooed.  She was upset but I had grown up in one week.

Summerjam at Liberty U--August 2000...I remember Newsong...they're the only ones I remember.

Paycheck that took out taxes- Intern in HR at my parents' office, Summer 2008.
Started regularly babysitting in HS, though.

4. What is one thing you remember about FIRST grade?  
Telling my class my mom was having another baby and that it looked like a fish. (Mom had a pregnancy book, and I snuck peeks at the embryonic development pictures...I was fascinated)

5. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane? 
Kansas...this January.

6. Do you still talk to your FIRST best friend?
YEP!! I'm going to snuggle her new baby girl next Saturday!

I was a flower girl in my uncle's wedding when I was 3.

After I cursed my alarm clock?  Took temp for NFP.

Our families get together every Christmas, so I saw him then.  I was in looooooove with him from the time I was 2 until about 9th grade.  We never dated, but I had a serious crush.  I don't talk to my HS boyfriends anymore.  One out of choice to get him out of my life, and the other because we don't see each other anymore and he doesn't have facebook.  I talk to his mom regularly, though.

Canada!!  My brave French teacher took 40 high schoolers to Montreal & Quebec City in 2004.  That woman...and the 6 adult sponsors... are saints.

11. What is the FIRST movie you remember seeing?
In theaters? Snow White

12. Did you marry (or are you marrying) the FIRST person who asked your hand in marriage? 

Yes

13. What was the FIRST sport that you were involved in?
If it counts- Pee-Wee Cheerleading 1st-5th grade.
If not- Rec League Basketball in 7th grade...it was failtacular.

Piano- 5th-7th grade

15.  What was the FIRST vacation you ever took without your parents?
My aunt has taken us on parent-free vacations since I was 8.
If that doesn't count, I drove myself to Maryland to visit FI Summer 2009 while we were dating.  That was my first solo trip.

Disney World in FL with the grandparents when I was like 8 or 9

No. We grew apart in middle school sometime I think because she went to school somewhere else.

Nooo. I wouldn't call any of that stuff love. FI is the first and only time I knew real, true love.

11. What is the FIRST movie you remember seeing? I don't know if this was the first movie I remember seeing, but I remember the first movie I bought was Pocahontas. And I remember getting it for my birthday - BEFORE it came out in stores. (My mom's friend at the time worked for a movie rental store and she got the movie 2 days before it was supposed to come out in the stores and let me buy it for my birthday)

12. Did you marry (or are you marrying) the FIRST person who asked your hand in marriage? Yes.... well, that I can remember. My mom said when I was 2, this 3 yr old boy asked if I'd marry him - but I haven't seen him since I was probably 5 or 6.

14. What were the FIRST lessons you ever took? Piano.

15.  What was the FIRST vacation you ever took without your parents? To Mexico, last July. It really wasn't a vacation, but it's the only place I've been without my parents. It was super fun, but mission trips don't really count as "vacation" because we had zero time to relax.

1. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to? Elton John at the Meadows in Hartford with my mom.  I was thirteen.

Sadly no, she passed away from cancer when we were 19

I went to Spirit West Coast when i was in Jr. High and there were TONS of Christian Artists..the three i remember most were: Stacie Orrico, and Superchick. My first non-christian concert was Jason Mraz in Sept 2009.

My first job was freshman year...i worked at an Old Fashion Soda Fountain making ice cream sundaes and sodas during the summer. I worked there all throughout high school. EVERYONE wanted to work there..and the boss only hires 4 girls every summer. lol.

a 1996 Dodge Neon Sport. i LOVED it!!! But 1 week before i moved to go to School of Ministry in 2008) it died. i cried. now i drive a beat up 1987 Volvo Station Wagon. Jesus, i need a new car!
4. What is one thing you remember about FIRST grade?  not a whole lot. lol. I remember story time in the library! 

5. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane? I went to LA when i was 3..but it was like an hour flight.

Do you still talk to your FIRST best friend?No..when i had Facebook we would talk occasionally...but i dont have facebook anymore. she was my BEST friend. the first day of kindergarten i went up to her and asked her to be my best friend..and she was all throughout grammar school and high school. My senior year we had a really bad falling out....and dont really talk anymore.

I think i was like 12...i was the guest book girl at my cousings wedding..and then the next year i was the candle holder at another cousins wedding.

my mother MADE me do little league....but the first sport i wanted to do was cheerleading in 6th grade..and then all throughout high school.

I was in gymanstics, tap, jazz, and ballet. all the same teacher when i was about 5 i think. i was EXTREMELY shy...and ppl were worried..so they put me in the maximum i could take. lol. I wish i would have stayed with it...but my town is soo small.....they didn't offer dance classes past like 8 yrs old. 15.  What was the FIRST vacation you ever took without your parents?
hmm..probably when i went to North Carolina when i was 20 with a friend. it was pretty much horrid..and every day i said i wanted to go back to California. A GOOD vacation is when i went to Portland, OR to go visit a friend and see the Jason Mraz concert! it was sooo fun!

1. Aside from kid-type concerts (Raffi, etc) the first one I went to was Spice Girls in 5th grade. I had a great time! :)
2. I babysat a lot in middle school. First "real" job, I worked every summer at the State Fair first at a cookie stand, then at a smoothie stand.

I can't remember.  I have been going to the Houston Rodeo since before I could walk and there is always a concert following.  I do remember going one year and my parents not letting me stay for Garth Brooks I was so upset.  The first concert (without the rodeo) that I remember was the Straightland concert.

The FIRST time I flew alone was in High school (on crutches haha!) I flew to MT to see my grandma and cousins without my family.

haha reading through these it makes me laugh how many of us had crazy early proposals. 

I actually got proposed to in Kindergarten.  This kid slid a ring to me when we were sitting against the wall wrapped in brown paper towels.  I kept telling him no and sliding it back but he would just slide it back to me. So I just stuffed it in my backpack.

My mom found the ring when I was about to start first grade.  Turns out it was a 14k gold ring with a real emerald in it.  His mom had NO clue where the ring came from.

I actually travel A LOT more now without my parents since we didn't travel much as a family except to Cape Cod.

I think I started playing when I was 4, but I didn't have the attention span to practice at home and I just wanted to quit. So when my music school was invited to perform a piece at Carnegie Hall, my parents were so thrilled for me that they said after the concert if I still didn't want to play then I could quit, and I did. I don't miss it at all, at that young age I couldn't be bothered to try and learn an instrument. I had a lot more fun at my dance classes, gymnastics school, and playing sports. I was a busy kid! :-P

ETA: The funny thing is the day we performed at Carnegie Hall was the same day as my annual dance recital for my dance school. So as soon as I was done with my piece on stage, my parents whisked me away and we hopped the train back to Connecticut (where I grew up) and we barely made it to my dance recital on time. My mom was changing me into my costume back stage right before my first number! Way too much for a little kid, and I'm glad I got to focus on dance after that.
