Just a fun poll... movies!

So, what are your favorite movies?  I thought maybe we would have some common movie interests given common values, and this is something we haven't started a poll about.  (Plus, I wouldn't mind hearing others' movies suggestions!)

Here's the poll:
Number one favorite movie of all time?
Favorite romance?
Best wedding movie?
Funniest comedy?
Guilty action flick interest?
Most inspiring movie with Christian themes?
Any others you would like to share?

My answers:
Number one favorite movie of all time: Slumdog Millionaire
Favorite romance: A Walk to Remember. Also Slumdog.
Best wedding movie: My Big Fat Greek Wedding (the story of my Greek mom marrying my American dad)
Funniest comedy: Also My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Guilty action flick interest: The original Star Wars movies (I think that the new ones stink.)
Most inspiring movie with Christian themes: Les Miserables, the late 1990's version with Liam Neelson and Uma Thurman. Sooooo good!
Any others you would like to share: I really love Shawshank Redemption, My Girlfriend's Boyfriend (not what you think it's about), Big Fish, and Goodbye Lenin.

I don't go to the movies much and we don't rent them often so there are a lot of movies I've missed over the years.  I also haven't seen a lot of movies (like Star Wars and Indiana Jones) because I wasn't allowed to go to the movies as a kid and never have seen them as an adult.
Number one favorite movie of all time?  I don't think I have oneFavorite romance?  I really like Notting HillBest wedding movie?  Maybe My Best Friend's WeddingFunniest comedy?  Fried Green TomatoesGuilty action flick interest?  I can't think of anyMost inspiring movie with Christian themes?  The Blind SideAny others you would like to share?  I also like Shawshank Redemption and one of my favorite animated films is The Lion King.  Most quotable movie - The Princess Bride.

Fun poll! Let me run downstairs to my DVD tower and see because this is tough! haha...

Number one favorite movie of all time? So hard to choose just one! I like Beaches a lot. And some of the movies I am going to write for the other categories are also all-time faves....

    Favorite romance? The Notebook!

Best wedding movie? 27 Dresses! LOVE that movie!

Funniest comedy? Couples Retreat, Elf, Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers

Guilty action flick interest? I'm not into action movies, but I have always liked the Spiderman series!

Most inspiring movie with Christian themes? The Passion of the Christ- even though I cry my face off, I try to watch it at Easter time every year to remind myself of what Christ endured for us.  Also, I love Letters to God and Fireproof!

Any others you would like to share? I love musicals! Mamma Mia is great! A few other favorite movies of mine are: Coach Carter... Empire Records... Hitch... Step Up, Dirty Dancing, Take the Lead, or any dance movie... Freedom Writers- all the teachers on this board- if you haven't seen it, see it! It is a true story and so inspiring! Kelly- have you seen it? I bet it would help you get through your situation. I also am a sucker for romantic comedies and inspiring sports movies haha. ALSO- I refuse to watch any new R-rated movies- they have gotten so awful and disgusting in the past few years. Anytime I begin to watch one, it gets so vulgar that I always end up crying and turning it off... so I don't watch them anymore.
