... until freedom, in a sense. My school job gets more miserable by the day. This week we have the added adventure of suddenly being thrown into 90 minute classes, and the exploratory teachers are all now "mobile" meaning we go to the team classes... unfortunately though, they aren't OUR students ... they are students of that core class, some we know, and some we don't. It's just nuts. I teach middle school chorus / music, and since we have all new kids, and I have no piano in the new classes ... we are doing babysitting activities (puzzles, word searches, crossword puzzles, busy work). Pretty much everyone is doing the same types of activities in exploratories right now. We have 4 more days of this insanity with students, then a few teacher workdays, then I'm free. I have really tried to count my blessings and find the positives but I am struggling to make it through these last few days. Keep praying, please!!!
Oh, and as far as the job hunt goes, it's going strong, lots of applications put out, found some job openings ... I am just hoping to get a call for an interview. :-)
July 16, Our Wedding Day, is also International Juggling Day!
