Pore Minimizer for your Man? (XP)

I XP'd this on the Wedding Beauty board too.... 

Okay ladies, I need some help from you or your FI. 

My FI has an oily face and also a lot of rosacia (sp?) as well as large pores.  He has been to the doctor about the redness, but he's wondering if there are any man-friendly products (OTC) you all know of that could help minimize his pores and help with the oiliness of his face as the wedding gets closer. 

 

Are there any specific products you recommend for him to try?  Women's brands don't really appeal to him.  He is 27 so my first thought was that the typical "teenager" products like clearasil might not be the best thing for him.  Thanks for any advice you can give!!

Gillette and Nivea for Men have skin care lines with face washes and Dove for Men has deep cleaning bar soap.

Thanks LeahVB!  I'll let him know to check those out.  I gave him an extra bottle of my Aveeno pore minimizing cleanser, but he conceives of it as "girly" so it's difficult to convince him to use it, LOL! :-)  That bar cleanser might be the answer because he would think of that as soap, too.  Thanks, girlie!  Any more suggestions, keep 'em coming, I'll forward the suggestions on to him!!

FI uses my girly stuff cause he sees it as a way to save money, hehe. I was somehow able to to convince FI that my products were unisex :P maybe give that a try???

Clinique and Bath & Body Works both have skin care lines for men.  I don't know if they have pore minimizers specfically, but maybe check them out?

Hmm... I like the idea of unisex products... could try that too.  Next time I see the clinique counter I'll take a look there too!!  Thanks!!

Although I have to say out of all the products I have ever tried... and I am ashamed to say I've tried a lot.. I always go back to Cetaphil and Aveeno, which are awesome and very gentle on sensitive skin

I agreed! Cetaphil is great and very unisex. My FI has the lotion on his counter. It is the most gentle and great for oily skin.
