Invitation questions

What size are your invites?

Where did you find the cheapest but good quality envelopes? Online or local?

What enclosures did you include?

How long before are you sending them?

Lastly how did you address them?

Sorry its so much I am just having a HUGE brain fart about invitations :(

5x7 pocket from cards and packets

I got my envelopes from cards and pockets.... they were relatively inexpensive but they were also what I needed and I couldnt find what I needed else where (basically I got sick of looking LOL)

I have an accomodations card, a reception card (mostly info about the guest shuttle we will have) and the RSVP card as far as enclosures go

The actual invite my father designed and printed on 4x6 photo paper and we are using the pocket more or less as a matt for the invite

Im sending them out the 1st or second week in April for a June 26th wedding

I addressed the envelopes by hand... silver and gold markers on black envelopes, they look better than I envisioned.

I got my 5x5 pocketfold from envelopme.com (Its the kind that Paperzone has). It was a bit more expensive than cardsandpockets but cardsandpockets didn't have my dark blue.
I also got the mailing envelopes from them.

I included the RSVP, Map&Directions (Written Directions on the back), and a wedding website page. I just felt like having 3 enclosures.

We are mailing them April 1st =)

I actually make return labels with our monogram and used those. I handwrote everyones address (man first) in blue ink.

    i got rectangalo pocketfolds 5x7 from cardsandpockets.com

depending on shipping... cardsandpockets.com, envelopemall.com, and paperzone seem to have good prices on envelopes. I'll probably end up buying mine soon so i'll elt you know for sure.

we're including rsvp, directions, and extras inserts.

I think we're gonna send them out the first or second week of May for our July 31, 2010 wedding. probably somewhere around May 15 they'll go out.

I"m going to make wrap around labels. :)

My invitations are 5x7 pocketfolds from cardsandpockets.com.  I got my brown kraft envelopes at envelopemall.com (best deal I could find, and I LOVE them).
I'm including a map/directions card, RSVP, and "details" enclosures.
I'll be mailing mine around the same time as Sara (of course).
I'm going to try to do the recipients' addresses by hand with white calligraphy ink.  I just bought this stamp today for the return address/RSVP envelopes:

I bought my pockets and envelopes from my printer - paperfling.com.

I am including 3 inserts Map & Directions (2 sided), RSVP, and Events & accommodations (2 sided).

I plan on sending them mid July for 10.10 wedding.

I plan on having a friend hand write the address as her cursive looks like calligraphy on wrap around labels.

Ours work out to about 5x7.

We bought our papers/mats/envelopes from Cardsandpockets.com but mostly that was because I wanted to "just be done with it". I suspect that there might be cheaper prices locally, but with my work schedule, etc I just decided to order what I liked online. :) AND they come pre-cut...

Our enclosures are a mix. The RSVP cards are from C&P but our directions cards will be DIY from Paper Zone.

We're hoping to send them out by April 1 for our June 5 wedding... but we're not quite there yet so we'll see!

We're printing our addresses on the envelopes using our printer at home and a fancy font.

    Hope that helps!! :)

We're going with the Rectangolo pocketfold from cardsandpockets.com - you should go to their site and click on their blog to see what the finished product looks like.  Our invitations will be on 4.5 x 6.5 cards on a mat.  We're doing two insert cards - one for the RSVP and the other for the reception (because it's at a different location than the ceremony).

I haven't decided how I want to address the invitations, but we'll probably be printing labels.  I don't want to pay for calligraphy and my handwriting sucks.

If we were local, our invites would go out 2 months in advance; since ours is a DW, we're sending them 3 mos before the big day.

    Invites are 5X7

I didn't look around for envelopes. I bought it all as a package at weddingpaperdivas.com

No extra enclosures. Just the invite and RSVP card

    Mailing them April 1st

I did them informally. No mr or mrs. That was on the RSVP card. It was just two names with their last name. I put mine and FI's first name only w/ our address in the return address spot. Don't care to look formal, we're not going that route.

Hope you get out of this funk!! You can do it!
