We have been engaged for 10 months and we got a lot of stuff done early, so I haven't had much to talk about. Now, my soon to be sister-in-law is pregnant and that is all we hear about or talk about. The other day I told her how I was going to go to a trunk show of this wedding dress designer that I really like (San Patrick), and her response seemed like she just brushed it aside. I have listened to her talk about baby stuff for 8 1/2 months and then the one time I say something that is important or exciting to me, it seems to be brushed aside.
I know that it is still early and we have a lot of time but it really hurt me. My FI talked to her and she apologized and she said she did not even notice that was her reaction because she was uncomfortable.
I just now feel like I really can't talk about it with people because their reactions bring me down about something I am so excited for
Is any one else having problems talking to people about their weddings, because they are kind of far off?
