Hello! I got engaged on Oct 22 and always hoped for a fall wedding so I got straight to planning! Of course I didn't realize how expensive weddings REALLY are until I started contacting venues. We finally found one in our budget and the only fall dates available are afternoon weddings (12-5p). What are your thoughts? It has many pros: ceremony outdoor, good photo lighting, not dark and dreary out, CHEAPER, so on so on. My only con is that my family is kind of wild and likes to party (it will be open bar) but the party will be over by 5! Is this weird? Will people still have fun? Have you been to a fun afternoon wedding... I'm hoping to have people follow us to a bar or something ha ha. HELP!
