Well when people say last minute things come up the week before your wedding, I wasn't expecting a hurricane. It was a crazy week trying to figure out if bridesmaids could make it for our wedding along with family etc. One of my bridesmaid's dress was stuck in NC while she was stuck in NYC and nothing was shipping through UPS. A plea on facebook on where I could find a similar dress was picked up by a blog and the out pouring of help was truly like nothing I had ever seen. Even the designer reached out. In the end a local boutique offered a similar dress with alterations for free the day before my wedding. I just thought I would share the story.
