Can you believe its August 1st?!

Some of you girls will be in the "2 month range countdown" very shortly!  Eeep!  I am stil waiting for my double digits to come, lol.  9 days to go, I think, 3 month mark exactly will be August 17th

Anyway crazy. 

How is everybody doing with planning?

We confirmed what the guys are wearing finally and confirmed what the dads are wearing yesterday. 

Right now we are in the invite process - stuffing envelopes, sealing what we are able to seal at the moment, waiting to get addresses for some family members, and needing to purchase stamps for the RSVPs.  We have 4 invites given out, only because those people we wouldn't see again in the next month or two so we just gave them theirs early for convenience sake.

For those of you who have not started this process yet...the annoying part is trying to get addresses!!  Start this early, even if you don't start your invites early, at least get on the ball (or get your families on the bal) with that much!!

i cant believe it is august! 2 days until i hit the 3 month mark! planning is starting to get crazy again, i think that lull period is over and now its time to get down to business.

today we have our tasting, so tonight or tomorrow we will be finalizing our invites since we have to put our entree choices on our response card, and i will get the invite files by the end of the week. i didnt think we would DIY them but we are! i still have to order the cardstock and pockets but i think we are decided on that as well.

we have a cake tasting next week. i know that seems late but we are only doing a top tier for ourselves to cut since our meal at our reception includes dessert. we may do some cupcakes on our cookie table so people who want some cake can have some.

there is so much done but feels like so much left to do!

It's crazy how time is flying.

Our invites are ready to go and just need to be sealed. We haven't sent any and don't plan to until early September.

I'm finishing up some DIY projects and getting ready for my bachelorette party and shower! As well as going home for some final vendor meetings!

I can't believe it's August already! Wow! We're at 102 days, so know I'll really freak in 3 days when we get to double digits. I'm doing little things right now and plan on finishing up scanning pictures and starting our table numbers today. Invites are all put together, addresses just need to be put on envelopes. I ordered our return address stamp the other day so that should be here soon.

I'm trying to plan for programs and find something I like right now. We finally figured out what the guys are wearing, so now the trouble of getting them all to go get measured starts. Time is flying!

We have reached the 100 day mark today!!! It's crazy how time flies!!!

I seriously can not believe it. It seemed like just yesterday I was at 200-some days. Where did the time go?!

Invited are starting to get assembled. I'm hoping to have them out by mid-august...we'll see.

Cake meeting on Sunday to get that all squared away so that's fun!
Trying on my dress for the first time on Saturday too so I can see how much it needs to be altered!

We hit the 3 month mark today.  We've had all of the addresses we need for several months now - that was extremely helpful to have that all done way in advance.  I would be ripping my hair out if I had more addresses to get.  

Our invitations are stuffed, stamped, and labeled.  Just need to stick them in the mail on August 31st.  

My dress alterations are done - I go to try it on this Saturday.

All of our tastings are done and all of our vendors are booked.  

All we really need to do is finish our DIY centerpieces (10 of 22 are complete), finish our DIY escort cards, have a trial run on my hair, make a seating chart, and get our marriage license.  It's really not that much, but I'm still in a panic!

Well, I cannot belive it's August and while a few months ago I was wishing I had more time, i cannot wait for the day to get here.  I am super excited.

Planning has picked up speed again after I took a planning break.  I finally booked my caterer (signed the contract and made a 50% deposit yesterday).  Tasting is next Monday. I have a dj but haven't booked him yet, waiting on him to email me about a contract.  Looking into booking transportation; I have 2 companies that i am interested in and have already spoken with. And I have a meeting with the church and officiant today (yay).  Once i get the ceremony info sorted out, i can go ahead and make a few changes to the invites and ceremony inserts and print them up.

I still have alot to do (some diy some not) but things are progressing nicely I think.
