Bridal Session?

Are y'all planning on doing bridal portraits? Right now I'm leaning towards not wanting to do them. Like if I wear my dress it won't be as special for the wedding.

It's a southern thing. They're included in most photo packages. I didn't know that wasnt't a universal thing until The Knot. Lol. Mine is included in my package so yes.

I didn't realize it was a Southern thing until TK either!!  I guess becuase I'm from Texas, it just seems normal.  They aren't included in my package, but I think I've decided not to do them.  I don't want to rush any alterations on the dress (since it hasn't even come in yet), or risk my dress getting messed up in anyway.  Also, I figure they'll take pics of me by myself on the wedding day, and that should be good enough.

I honestly had never heard of them til this post. Funny thing is, I guess you can say I am kinda doing them. My niece, who is our flower girl, has the miniature version of my wedding dress, and we have decided to go to Sears and just do portraits that way (I got a super good deal via Groupon)

No bridal session for me. I am doing a pre-wedding boudoir session as a wedding gift with my veil, and special undergarments.

No. I would be nice to, but it isn't in the budget. I would be afraid of messing up my dress too!

I have one included in my package, but opted to do an e-shoot instead. My package also includes a RD shoot, but I am opting fora ock the dress shoot instead.

Our photo package gave us either a free bridal or a free engagment.  We chose the engagement since we hadn't had any professional pics of us done ever!  I am planning on asking our photographers to take a few solo pics of me on the wedding day.  That way we're not spending extra for another session, makeup, hair and getting the dress ready for the shoot, only to have to do it all over again on the wedding day.

Some of my friends are doing them, however, and that's mainly because her parents were paying for it and so it wasn't an issue of budget.
