I need your help and honest opinion...

I know this isn't the DIY board but I don't want to get eaten alive:) So I have been wanting to make a card box and I made one a little while ago but I cut the card whole way to big and you can see that I have tried to insert an extra brown piece of cardboard in the box to make the slot smaller.
Honestly, how bad does it look?
I don't want to spend a bunch more money on it but I'm not happy with it.
Is it ruined? What could I add? A bow? Ect.
I don't want it to be so crappy that is looks cheap or DIY.
Also, the boxes look more crooked in the picture than real life. On the top is our monogram and the bottom it says cards. Sorry bad pic.

    I think the top and bottom look great, but the middle doesn't look as nice or neat.  Although, its really hard to see, so I can't suggest what to do to fix it.

    Thanks, that was i was thinking. I think because the middle box was wrapped in fabric and the other two brown boxes were painted. So what should I do. I don't want to scrap the whole thing. Try to salvage the middle box and take of the fabric and piant it red?

    Yah I think you should paint it red....other than that, I think it looks great. really cute.

    Can you buy a new middle box? That looks like the only solution to me. But I cant really tell what is going on with that brown in the middle. I think you should paint it red too :) JMO

    ok.. hopefully this makes sense... Could you just wrap the middle box again? I would put the extra piece of brown box that you added to the middle VERY close to the opening, if not cut it the exact same size and tape or do whatever you have to to make it look like it belongs. Then, I'd wrap the WHOLE middle box again so you can't even tell there is an error. You might have to reinforce that spot a little because people will be putting cards there.. or you could cover the whole thing again and cut the card slot out the other side and cover that ENTIRE side... so no one will even know.

    what do you think?

    Thanks girls, as of right now I have ripped the fabric off and either hide it in the back or just get a new box. I wish I could have just done it right the first time. Thanks for veryifying that I would not be satisfied with this quality.
