need help finding a space for RD on the waterfront

Hey ladies!

I'm the MOH for a wedding in October at the Edgewater. I live in San Jose, so I have no idea what's available up there.

My bride wants to have a friend cater her RD (there will be anywhere from 20-50 people) and would like a space to rent. DIY is ok, but somewhere that is set up for outside catering and isn't too spendy is preferred.

She lives in West Seattle and her fiance is in England until his visa comes through, but she hasn't lived there in over a decade and so we need your help.

TIA!

Try Apulent Events and Catering - They have a venue right on the water and it's lovely.

I would also look into Ray's Boathouse, Anthony's, Edgewater, Palisades, Matt's in the Market (not a huge venue, but lovely view and great food and right in the market - great for out of town guests), the Pink Door (awesome outdoor space, and again, in the market). Cactus in West Seattle is lovely, as well. I'm not sure if that location has a private room.

That's what comes to mind off the top of my head. Best of luck!

All of the places that Westevents mentioned definitely won't allow outside catering! Those are all restaurants.

The first thing that came to mind for me was renting a one of the bathhouses at the parks in Seattle. Alki has a bath house that accomodates up to 85. It comes with tables and chairs too.

Here is a link to check it out. It is right on Alki Beach. http://www.seattle.gov/parks/Reservations/Alki.htm

and this has the rental prices and also lists a few other bathhouses that you coudl rent. http://www.seattle.gov/parks/Reservations/rental_packet.pdf

That's the only thing I can think of right now. I don't know a ton of places in Seattle.

    Hope that helps!

If her budget would allow, I'm in love with Golden Gardens Bathhouse in Ballard.
