Washington (Greater Seattle area) Outdoor Wedding Venues?

The suggestions from TK are somewhat lacking, and are mostly IN Seattle. As our ceremony will be in Federal Way, do you know of any closer outdoor venue options?

Also, how far is too far to ask guests to travel to a reception?

P.S. The whole renting a bus thing isn't really an option.

You should try posting this on your local board.  It can be found in the dropdown menu on the left side of the screen.

Try the state parks?  Dash Point state park and Salt Water state park are very close to Federal Way and Des Moines, and are both beautiful.

    Welcome to the Seattle Board!

TK's venue selection sucks....Try wedding wire, they have a ton!

If you could tell us your budget for venue and approx number of guest and what kind of "feel" you are going for, it will probably be easier to suggest venues

In Kent/Federal Way off 272nd, there is an outdoor venue called Sanders Mansion. http://www.sandersmansion.com/

I know there is a winery in Auburn.

I honestly can't think of any venues actually in Federal Way unless you do like PP said and do a park. There is lots of options in Tacoma, which I really don't think is too far....but that's my opinion.

If you give us more info, we can help more.

I love the look and feel of Sanders Mansion, and that wouldn't be too far.

I would love somewhere with lots of trees and a water feature (another awesome thing about Sanders.) I would also love to pick my own catering.

The guest list will likely be near 300.

The wedding style I'm into is kind of vintage and a little eclectic, but somewhat formal.

    Under $2000 would be ideal.

    Thank you, guys. :)
