If you are not a member of Seattle Knotties you can not see the discussion board correct?

    That's correct. even if you share a link to the discussion, if someone not in the group clicks on it it will just take them to their FB home page.

    Also in your own FB profile you will see notes when you comment on discussions in private groups. These are only visible to people who are also in that private group.
