Hey ladies,
I know a lot of you are avid readers, and I just read this great book for my graduate class called Bread Givers by Anzia Yezierska. I literally finished it in a few hours-- it was so good I couldn't put it down! It's set in the 1920s and it's about a young immigrant girl's struggle to follow her dreams and heart even though they conflict with her father's "Old World" traditions.
