Dress Dilemma F/U

Part of the problem is that I don't really love the dress.  It's pretty, but it's not how I pictured my dress, and doesn't feel right.  My MOH and another bridesmaid were there, and they loved it on me.  I think their excitement rubbed off on me, because the second (and third) time I tried it on I didn't feel the same way about it.

Thankfully.... the dress was less than half of what I originally budgeted for it.  Soooo... I'm going dress shopping this weekend.  By myself so that I won't be influenced by what other people think.

I finally feel calm about the whole situation, lol.

Oh, that's fantastic! I think I got the gist you absolutely loved the dress cause you said this was the one.

Good luck finding a better dress that you love more! :)

Good luck finding a new dress. If you want to sell the other one, I was very impressed with Blue Sky Bridal consignment on 77th and Greenwood.

yay for 2 dress brides :)

i loved my first dress (still do) but hated the place i bought it from, so i never paid for the second half of my first dress, and bought a new one. all is well in the world when you are 100% satisfied.

    I had a similar situation... I think.
I put the money down for my dress but wasn't satisfied with the dress, or the whole experience at that bridal store. My mom pushed me into a dress that I liked alot but I couldnt stop thinking about the fact that my FI wanted to see me in something strapless and this had small sleeves... and I wanted to see what else was out there....
So I'm ate the deposit, and I'm just going to find a new dress at the beginning of next year...
this time, I wont look at anything that isn't strapless. :) and I'll get what I WANT!!
