Oh, ex BFF, you're so, so stupid pt. 1

I came to realize that I was getting nothing out of the friendship and bailed. She'd been acting like a total flake because Baby Daddy was back in the picture and only calling me when she needed something or when she wasn't wrapped up with him or was mad at him. First, she called me at damn near 1 this morning because the baby had a 102.8 fever and she was taking her to the hospital. Usually, I'd dart out of bed to be by her side, but I told her to text me when she found out what was wrong since I'd be asleep.  And she did try to call Baby Daddy before calling me, but couldn't find him. {insert shocked face}

Oh, baby is fine. She just has ear infections in both ears.

Okay.  I understand being supportive, but what were you supposed to do about it?

I was supposed to inconvenience myself and go sit in the emergency room with her like I've done in the past.

But that would do nothing for the baby.  ::eyeroll::
